Before the operating room

See the anatomy. Then rehearse it.

Patient-specific planning lets a clinician understand the anatomy, judge whether a device will fit, and prepare for the difficult part of the procedure before anyone enters the operating room.

A center that invests in this does more than deliver a model. It makes the decision in theatre less of a surprise, and the procedure more predictable. As care becomes more personal, that preparation is one of the few advantages a hospital can actually hold.

The pictures are examples of that class of work. The heart is a demonstration segmentation, not a Smouha patient. The silicone plates are from a manufacturer catalogue, so the target is visible. They are not MEDRA products, and no supplier has been selected.

  • A custom splint is drawn on the scan before anything is printed. A jig follows the same order: design on the anatomy, then make the part. This clip is a public design example. It is not a MEDRA device and it is not for sale.

AEDTH is a house, not the roof

Alexandria Endovascular Digital Twin Hub makes the physical twin: meshes, silicone phantoms, inserts, metrology. The institute around it also watches the wards, tests what is safe to rehearse, and holds the intellectual property. A hub with no transfer office files nothing. A transfer office with no factory licences slides.
